Wasserbillig/Luxembourg, JUNE 2016. NeuseenMAN, the new triathlon event at the CAMP DAVID Sport Resort by ALL-on-SEA, took place for the first time on June 26, 2016 in Leipzig. The triathlon, which is the successor to the Rackwitzer Triathlon, led the triathletes past numerous scenic highlights. Starting at the Schladitzer Bucht beach, the route ran through North Saxony and along the riverside. pjuractive was there to accompany the more than 250 participants in the event, providing each one of them with a sample of pjuractive 2SKIN. pjuractive brand ambassador, long-distance professional athlete and IRONMAN World Championship competitor Christian Kramer from the BIKE24 TriTeamMitteldeutschland won the sprint distance (0.75km swimming/20km cycling/5km running). His teammate Rico Bogen came through in second place.
“I’m very pleased with my first place – it gives me confidence for the Ironman in Frankfurt. Thanks to 2SKIN, I feel really well protected against blisters and chafing. That’s a huge advantage, particularly in rainy weather,” says Christian Kramer.
Kathrin Bogen won the women’s sprint distance, with Heleen Gebauer in second place and Lea Devantier in third. The Olympic distance (1.5km swimming/40km cycling/10km running) was won by Sebastian Pflüger from LVF Oberholz, with Eric Michel in second place, also from LVF Oberholz. Katharina Ander from TSV92 Freiberg won the women’s Olympic distance.
