Wasserbillig/Luxembourg, JULY 2016. At the 15th annual Mainova IRONMAN European Championship in Frankfurt, pjuractive once again supported triathletes with product samples of 2SKIN for the prevention of chafing and blistering. And that includes winner Sebastian Kienle, of course, who was able to clinch his second IRONMAN European championship title after winning in 2014. With a time of 7:52:43, he came through ahead of the second place finisher, fellow German Andi Böcherer. German triathletes clearly showed their dominance among the top ten in the men’s events. Five German triathletes made it into the top ten spots. Among them was pjuractive brand ambassador Christian Kramer, who finished in sixth place. In total, German triathletes were able to secure the lead in eleven of the fifteen races.
With his sixth place finish, Christian Kramer gained nearly all the points he needed for the Hawaii qualification. “I’m pleased with the result and delighted that Hawaii now looks to be in the bag. I was able to run a fast marathon, free of chafing and blistering thanks to pjuractive 2SKIN. Although I was hoping for a better performance, I am satisfied overall,” said Christian Kramer.
In the women’s event, Australian athlete Melissa Hauschildt won with a clear lead over second place finisher Katja Konschak and third place Daniela Sämmler. Five German triathletes also made it into the top ten in the women’s event.
About pjuractive 2SKIN
pjuractive 2SKIN prevents chafing and blistering. It forms an invisible protective film on the skin. This protective film reinforces the cell structure of the skin and distributes the high pressure and stress of a marathon over a larger surface area. This reduces the occurring skin irritations. Unlike with other products, the skin stays breathable. pjuractive 2SKIN is dermatologically tested, free from skin impairing emulsifiers and is water- and sweat-resistant.
