Wasserbillig/Luxembourg, JULY 2016. pjuractive was present at this year’s IRONMAN 70.3 Vineman in the world famous wine region of Sonoma County, California, supporting triathletes with pjuractive 2SKIN from our very own booth. The IRONMAN 70.3 Vineman attracted 1,993 athletes and around 15,000 spectators.
Tom Carson, Brand Manager at pjuractive was on location in Sonoma County, California, and summed it all up very positively: “The first event where I had the honor of representing pjuractive was a complete success. Our booth was right next to the IRONMAN booth and a lot of triathletes were able to get their hands on 2SKIN, which helped support them during all three of the disciplines. The feedback was positive throughout. pjuractive 2SKIN was very well received across the board, mostly due to the fact that 2SKIN is the only product against chafing where applying multiple layers actually strengthens the protective effect.”
The IRONMAN 70.3 Vineman was a complete success for some of the participants as well. In the men’s events, American Andy Potts came out on top. Australian Tim Reed finished in second place and another Australian, Craig Alexander, came third. It was an exciting race up until the very last moment, as only a few seconds separated all of the leading men. In the women’s events, Holly Lawrence from Great Britain finished first, just ahead of Caroline Steffen from Switzerland. In third place was Lauren Brandon from the USA, who was neck and neck with first place finisher Holly Lawrence in the cycling, only to fall behind the eventual winner.
