From July 16 to 17, 2016, approximately 20,000 triathletes will be participating in the World\u2019s Biggest Triathlon and competing in the sprint distance (0.5km\/22km\/5km), the Olympic distance (1.5km\/40km\/10km) or the relay. This year, the triathlon will take place for the 15th time. It is one of eight prominent triathlon events belonging to the ITU World Triathlon Series, which takes place around the globe.<\/p>\n<p><em>pjuractive<\/em> <em>2SKIN<\/em> is an official co-sponsor of the HAMBURG WASSER WORLD TRIATHLON. The <em>2SKIN<\/em> gel maximizes the prevention of chafing and blistering for triathletes during their long swims, cycles and runs. Elisabeth Dahmen, Global PR Coordinator at <em>pjuractive <\/em>explains why: &#8220;<em>2SKIN<\/em> is especially beneficial for triathletes because the skin is placed under a considerable amount of pressure due to exposure to constant friction as well as constant changes of clothing and environmental conditions. Up until now, there has been no water-resistant product that both prevents chafing and also allows the skin to breathe.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About <em>pjuractive 2SKIN<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>pjuractive 2SKIN<\/em> prevents chafing and blistering. Once applied, an invisible protective film is formed on the skin. This protective film reinforces the skin&#8217;s cell structure and distributes the stress and pressure on the skin over a larger surface area. This helps reduce skin irritation. In contrast to other products, the skin is still able to breathe. <em>pjuractive 2SKIN<\/em> is dermatologically tested, free of skin impairing emulsifiers and is water- and sweat-resistant.
